EMBRYOSCOPE (EMBRYOSCOPE)

EMBRYOSCOPE (Dynamic Embryo Monitoring System)

In the Istanbul IVF Center Embryology Laboratory, the 'EMBRYOSCOPE' device, which enables the Dynamic Embryo Monitoring System, is used in accordance with current technological developments.
While the embryoscope device provides a safe development environment for the embryos, in addition to the traditional incubation systems, it has an internal camera and recording system that displays the embryos and records the developmental steps at 20-minute intervals. The steps can be followed in detail as a video recording.

The embryoscope device allows close follow-up of all stages of fertilization and embryo development, starting from the ICSI (Microinjection) process, which is the most important step performed in the laboratory in the in vitro fertilization process, until the embryo is frozen or transferred to the mother's womb, without the need for the embryo to be taken outside. provides.

Thanks to the use of the embryoscope device, fast or slow developing embryos are identified, and the best quality embryos are selected for freezing and transfer, by distinguishing between normal and abnormally fertilized eggs and continuously monitoring the division stages of the embryo, during the 3-5 day period the embryos spend in the in vitro fertilization laboratory. is possible. In this way, it becomes possible for us to achieve successful results by increasing the chance of pregnancy in our patients.

To summarize the advantages of the embryoscope device;
• It is possible to monitor all stages of embryo development without removing the embryos from the incubators and without affecting the culture conditions.
• Since it is possible to monitor the developmental stages of embryos in their entirety, it enables the evaluation of embryos to be made in line with the recorded video images.
• In this way, high pregnancy rates can be obtained by enabling the selection of the embryo with the highest chance of viability and adhesion for embryo transfer.
• It can be applied to every patient, but it allows a more detailed examination especially for patients with failed IVF attempts.
• It helps in choosing embryos with a higher chance of pregnancy for patients with a large number of embryos.
• In addition to giving comparative information about the development of each patient's embryos, it also provides the opportunity to compare the embryo development of the same patient in previous treatments.

As a result, the Embryoscope device provides a safe and continuous development environment for embryos, and thanks to detailed embryo development follow-up, it ensures the selection of the embryo with the highest chance of pregnancy.
