VAGIINISMUS
Nightmare; Vaginismus, What is it?
Vaginismus is defined as the involuntary contraction of the muscles at the entrance of the vagina and the inability of a woman to enter a foreign object into the vagina despite her own desire. Except for the partner's penis, which is meant as a foreign body, this includes suppositories, tampons, fingers and gynecological examinations. Although the incidence of the disease is not known clearly, it is estimated to be around 5-10%.There may be many reasons for the woman's involuntary contraction despite the desire to have sexual intercourse, especially the subconscious fear, sexual taboos, insufficient sex education, excessive excitement, sexual abuse, etc. These reasons cause the female body to give such a reaction. If the couple is under pressure from their environment to have a child, the situation can become even more difficult.
What Are the Symptoms of Vaginismus?
Although the symptoms of vaginismus vary from person to person, the following symptoms are generally observed:• Absence or partial occurrence of sexual intercourse
• The trembling, sweating, palpitations, and thoughts of dying experienced during reunion almost reflect a 'panic attack'-like situation.
• Feeling pain during sexual intercourse

• Inability to insert suppositories or tampons into the vagina
